The foundation of billie cup
Billie Cup was founded by two environmental activists who dreamed of a cleaner planet. Vanessa and Ineke discovered reusable cups at festivals. They thought: what if we had a deposit system like this for all our everyday take-away drinks too? They designed a beautiful cup and named it Billie. Small… but brave enough to replace all disposable cups!
Development in Belgium
Originally from Ghent in Belgium, they began by developing
their project in their hometown, then gradually developed it in the rest of the country. The project has now taken root in it, where it can be found in numerous shops (over 130 to date).
Then in the Netherlands
The brand then moved on to the Netherlands, where sustainable development is already firmly rooted in everyday life. Over 280 establishments have already joined the project.
and in france
Since 2022, Billie Cup has been expanding in France, where more than 25 partners (coffee shops, bakeries, ice cream parlours) have joined the project, notably in Lyon, Strasbourg, Lille and Bordeaux.
And the adventure continues with our top teams
Today, Billie Cup continues to grow in Belgium, the Netherlands and France, with over 400 partners. Our aim? To make re-use a habit, for businesses and consumers alike.

Ecocup is our partner in cups, enabling all kinds of events to serve drinks without generating waste. From major festivals and sporting events to small student parties and Christmas markets, we can do it all. Wine, soda or beer, Ecocup® cups are always part of the party!
Billie Cup is part of the Re-uz family: less is now!
Re-uz is the European project to which Billie Cup and Ecocup belong. It is a brand that brings together a complete range of reusable solutions for consumers and professionals, from simple systems to high-tech innovations. All the containers are designed and produced in France. The network is active in more than 10 European countries. Our motto: Less is now!
